IMTS Rochester Creepfeed Grinder

IMTS have developed a special hydraulic control valve to enable feedrates from 3MM per minute to 20M per minute. Due to the unique design of the Creep valve, the feedrate remains consistent regardless of the power consumption of the grinding wheel, the main benefit being consistency of quality and surface finish.

• High quality cast iron base.
• Stress relieved with double V section.
• Guideways from the cross slide and V.
• Flat for the longitudinal slide which ensures high stock removals with the minimum of power loss.
• The grinding area of the machine is totally enclosed with front doors to allow coolant to run away quickly.

Three types of coolant systems are available:

• Standard high pressure for light duty work.
• High pressure for higher stock removals.
• Ultra high pressure for heavy materials such as carbide, cobalt and stainless steel.
